Tekst fra omslag:
Annie Get Your Gun is Irving Berlin's greatest musical, featuring such hits as There's No Business Like Show Business, Anything You Can Do, and They Say It's Wonderful.
In late summer 1957, Broadway stars Mary Martin and John Raitt united for a special run of the show that began in San Francisco, moved on to Los Angeles, and culminated in an adaptation for TV, telecast live on Thanksgiving Eve. (Though broadcast in color it was only preserved in black and white.)
The New York Herald Tribune called it "a joyous event... from beginning to end, the TV screen bounded in charm and warmth, and, best of all, Irving Berlin's beguiling melodies."
